After 20+ years as a mild-mannered IT Manager with a slight attitude, I am now happily retired. I spend my days doing a lot of nothing. (And yes, it is as great as you hope it will be.) I'm also playing a variety of stringed instruments, board games, and remaining as staff to our three cats.
For me, gaming is primarily about creating memories with friends. Add in some crunchy, interesting choices and I'm mighty happy. I love abstracts, worker placement/resource management, and heavier Eurogames. I'm also willing to give most new games a try, at least once.

After playing far too many Roll & Move games in my childhood, I now have an inherent aversion to six-sided dice.
