Anchorage, AK – Local area man Ishmal Hansi shocked the board game community today with the Kickstarter launch of a product that solves an embarrassing problem that we’ve all experienced but never realized that we needed a solution for. Perfect Information Press reached out to Mr. Hansi to find out more about this product and where the inspiration for it came from. In Mr. Hansi’s own words:

“It was a typical Sunday afternoon. My wife and I had just managed to get our newborn daughter to go down for a nap. Excited about our good fortune, we decided that we’d seize the opportunity to play a game of A Feast For Odin. And amazingly, using a lot of hushed whispering and hand gestures, we were able to actually to get everything set up, get the game played, and break it all down again. And then the unthinkable happened. As I was putting the lid back on, the box let out a real butt-cracker that immediately upset the fragile tranquility of our household.”

“Uwe Rosenberg does love his beans,” I interject.

Ishmal laughs. “Yes, he does. In this instance, my daughter’s eyes popped open and she gave me this look that said ‘how dare you awaken me from my slumber’ before just losing her mind.”

This got him thinking about all of the other times that board game flatulence had caused him consternation and embarrassment.

“It got me really thinking about air biscuits a lot more than I’m proud to admit. But after asking around, I realized that board game brootlesnatches are a thing that everyone has to deal with at some point. But nobody should have to. That’s when I got the idea for the Wind Breaker.”

The Wind Breaker, Mr. Hansi’s product, is a rubber membrane that wraps around the outer rim of a board game box and creates a barrier between the inner and outer shells. As the air is forced out, it passes through the membrane where it is evenly dispersed throughout several smaller openings in the membrane.

“It’s sort of like a sound suppressor. Except this one is designed specifically to mask the embarrassing sounds of your games’ gas giants. I’m excited to get my product into the hands of my supporters. I really think The Wind Breaker is going to change the world!”

The campaign for The Wind Breaker is live on Kickstarter now and will also be available for purchase from Mr. Hansi’s website.
